My work is influenced by my fascination with African masks, the built space and architecture and its ability to shape ones identity. I am interested in the differences in human attitude, relating to the culture of a built environment that they inhabit. I have also observed how structures like architectures, roads and public spaces are named after people, which create an awareness of the person’s good deeds and archive his or her existence. – Patrick Akpojotor
